Swami Vivekanand was born on January/ 12/1863 in Calcutta on the day of {mahara sankranti }a great Hindu festival ЁЯОО.

Naren, was his actual name. Naren's father Viswanath & mother Bhuvaneshwari davi both were soft hearted and generous to the poor.
